Fug Skin

You know, I was all set to fug Courtney Love  for the following:

You know, because it's crazy. And then I saw her without her coat (but WITH her elbow-length knit gloves!) at her book signing:

And I kind of fell in love again for the first time, you know? Every day is a learning experience for me here at GFY HQ.  I have discovered, for example, that, despite what she may wear, J.Lo has really good hair. I've had it confirmed for me that Satin Is Hard To Wear. And I've learned, once and for all, that I have unexpectedly positive reactions people in glasses, be they real or not.

Good old C Love has pulled it together in a kooky way that amuses me. Sure, the dress is too short and she's a total mess, basically, but she's also Courtney Love, and in a way -- as fun as it was to watch Courtney's High Class Makeover of 1996 -- is she really Courtney Love if she's not stomping around with mussed eye makeup and tights? There's something about the way her Punk Mom persona slams right into this new  Sexpot Book Author look that makes me want to buy her book and throw a microphone stand at someone's head.
